and it just keeps getting better and better. Just when I thought I couldn't love her more she does something that just melts my heart all over again. Oh I can't wait for what's to come.

She is becoming more entertaining everyday. Today we danced to some silly songs about animals and pretzels and one eyed monsters. She was having so much fun and laughing but the minute I turned on the camera to catch the moment she would give me a dirty look. What is up with that? Maybe she is camera shy. So the only picture I got of her is this one. It's not the best because I took it with my iphone but you can see her emerging giggles.
She also stayed alone with daddy for a bit tonight while I went out to buy some paint. It was very cute because when I got home she was breaking out of her swaddle and I noticed she didn't have anything under it. Daddy said he couldn't find her PJ's so he just skipped putting clothes on her all together. What a classic daddy moment.

Today Kaylee is 7 weeks old. Some things that she is now doing are smiling more when you talk to her. She likes to cry when you put her down. Yes she is spoiled already and likes to be held... all the time! She likes to be swaddled now to go to sleep, even though she usually breaks out of it by the time she wakes up. She is starting to coo a little. She is now more interested in her play mat, although she still hates tummy time. She makes funny noises when she gets upset. She still LOVES the bath but hates when you take her out of the water. She likes to pretend to hold her bottle when you are feeding her, or just put her hands over her eyes. She also likes to sneak peaks at the TV when ever she can, even if that means she has to break her neck to see it. Mommy tries to face her away from it as much as possible. She also likes to go shopping with mom but most of the time falls asleep because the grocery cart is so soothing. She also is sleeping up to 6 hours during the night. And now it's time for her afternoon nap because she is overly tired.

So Mother's Day 2009 would be marked as my first. Kaylee was so nice and slept 5 hours during the night. She also ordered me some magazines to keep me busy during the day because she didn't think facebook would occupy enough of my time. Grandma wanted to go to brunch at toast so Kaylee got dressed up for the occasion. Since she looked so cute, daddy wanted to take some pictures. Hope you enjoy!

On May 1st Kaylee turned one month. A big deal in the Chinese tradition. Usually there is a big party and celebration. Since we weren't around family we were going to just celebrate the 3 of us by cutting a piece of hair and stamping her foorprint. We started our day by getting ready and going to lunch at daddy's work. While there I started to have a really bad back ache. Less then an hour later I was in ER with the worst pain ever. Yes it might of beat unmedicated labor. I ended up with kidney stones. It put a damper on our celebration so we did fulfilled the Chinese traditions today by cutting a piece of hair and getting her footprints done.
