Well after lots of discussion we have come up with what I think is the perfect name. Gavin Kai Weekley

Other names in the running: Why we didn't go with it:
Ethan, Loved but my good friends son is named Ethan
Wyatt, My neighbor's son is Wyatt
Wade, Wade Weekley sounded a bit odd
Enso, Too close to Enzo which is an italian name that I don't like
Quinn, Corey didn't like very much
Ryder, Corey liked the name... for a girl more then a boy

How far along? 24 weeks
Total weight gain: 14 lbs (got weighed yesterday at the dr.) That means I've gained a pound a week since my last weigh in. If I keep that up I'll have gained about 30 lbs by the end. I guess I better stop eating oreos and ice cream every night.
Best moment this week: Hearing a strong heartbeat at the Drs.
Movement: Lots of movement very low.
Food cravings: This week it's been vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup (hence the picture)
Anything making you sick? Nope
Belly button in or out? Barely and innie
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy (most of the time)
Looking forward to this week: Valentines day. Although I think it's a stupid holiday I'm having fun with making crafts and baking heart cookies with Kaylee. We are also going to a Fancy Nancy Under the Sea Tea Party on Tuesday at the book store.

How far along? 23 weeks
Total weight gain: Still not sure but baby is about 1 pound this week so I know I've gained at least another pound.
Maternity Clothes: Yeap, especially leggings, they are so comfortable right now.
Best moment this week: seeing my belly move when he kicks.
Miss anything? I can no longer sleep on my belly.
Movement: Lots of moving and grooving
Food cravings: ANYTHING that has LOTS of sugar. Chocolate...Yes Please, Ice Cream...I'll take two, Oreos...just give me 10 minutes and I'll finish the package for you.
Anything making you sick? Nope
Gender: Still a boy
Belly button in or out? Almost an outie
Happy or Moody most of the time: This week I've been moody. I've been feeling very anxious and sad (we had some friends lose their 3 month old baby this past weekend). I've been worrying about things that really aren't a big deal. I'm starting to feel better and back to my happy self.
Looking forward to: Celebrating Corey's birthday this weekend. Hopefully that includes lots of chocolate. :)

2:20 PM

Well not a lot has happened since last week. My back is a little more sore and this week I've been a little more cranky. Probably because we are trying Kaylee on no naps. It's been rough because I really liked that break in the middle of the day, plus sometimes I would take a nap too.

3:05 PM

He already has a bunch of clothes thanks to both Grammy and Grandpa's and for friends that gave me hand me downs.

My 21 week Belly. It's starting to pop out.

I saw this on another Blog so I thought I would do it too.

How Far along? 21 weeks
Total Weight Gain? My last Dr. Visit a few weeks ago I had gained 7 lbs so maybe by now 8 or a 9 lbs.
Maternity Clothes? Yes because they are just more comfy.
Sleep? O.k. But once Kaylee wakes up in the middle of the night it's hard for me to go back to sleep easily.
Best moment this week? Putting all the baby's clothes away. Also it's been a really relaxing week so far. We haven't done or gone anywhere which is nice. I've been able to watch a movie (The Help) and I've gotten half way through a book I started a few weeks ago.
Miss anything? Yes more then one cup of coffee a day and oysters. We went to an Oyster Farm over the weekend and I couldn't have any. :(
Movement? Yes but mostly at night when I am laying down getting ready for bed.
Food Cravings: Fruity Pebbles and Ice Cream sandwiches
Anything making you queasy or sick? No not really.
Labor signs. Not yet, thank goodness
Gender: BOY!!!
Symptoms: Noting really that I can complain about yet.
Belly Button in or out? Still in for now.
Wedding ring on or off. Still on
Happy or Moody? Happy... I think. Ask Corey he might have another answer for you. :)
Looking forward to: playing with the new lens we got today. 70 -200mm 2.8

Well I am half way there. I had my 20 week ultra sound and since the Dr. didn't say anything I am assuming everything looks good. The only thing that was a bummer is I have a low lying placenta. Hopefully it moves up the further along I get or else I think that means C-section. That scares me a bit, but I am not going to worry about it until I need to. Kaylee was excited to see her little brother but was a little too rambunctious to stay throughout the entire ultrasound...typical 2.75 year old.

4:58 PM

19 weeks already. It seems like it's going by a little too fast for me. Don't get me wrong I am excited to meet him and finally have him here and all, but I'm also a bit scared how things are going to drastically change.

Corey can feel him moving all around in there which makes things a little more real for him. Kaylee keeps talking about how when "Beef" comes out she is going to share all her toys with him. We'll see when the time finally comes. :)
As for myself, I am looking forward to the 20 week ultrasound in a few days.

Since I was late to the game and I want to document this pregnancy I thought I should start from the beginning.
Once we had Kaylee everyone started asking when is the next one coming. Well I wasn't sure I wanted a next one.
I was fine with just one. I wasn't sure I could love another child as much as I loved our new baby. Well that
changed and I decided when Kaylee was 2.5 we would start trying for a brother or sister. To make a long story
short I got off the pill in January and we started really trying around April but didn't finally get pregnant until
September so we were very excited to finally get a positive pregnancy test. The ironic thing is at that point
Kaylee was two and half, my body and mind must have finally been in sync.

8:54 PM

Well this blog started out as something to keep far away family informed on my pregnancy, then I used it for when Kaylee was a baby, then it was for my 365 project, and now I'm back to blogging about my new pregnancy. I'm a little late to the game this time around but better late then never. I'm 17 weeks along and feeling pretty darn good. A few things about this pregnancy so far is that I was so sick for 10 strait weeks morning, noon, and night which really sucked. We've had 4 ultrasounds so far. At 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 13 weeks and 15 weeks. I still have not heard his heart beat but have seen it on 3 of the u.s. My 13 week one the tech thought it was a boy and then it was confirmed at an elective gender determination u.s. I kind of thought that since this pregnancy was so different then with Kaylee. Kaylee has already decided his name is Baby Beef and no other names will do. Another very exciting time in our life is now beginning. Thanks for coming along on this journey with us.

a walk in the fog.

8:34 PM

Well it's been two wonderful years since we got the keys to our first home. The home is not perfect. It still needs a lot of work, but we've created so many memories here that it doesn't matter if I don't have granite counter tops or hardwood floors throughout . This is where we brought Kaylee home, it's where she rolled over for the first time, it's where she sat up for the first time, crawled for the first time, walked for the first time, peed in the potty for the first time. It's the place where our family began and that means something to me.

4:40 PM

My tribute picture to John Hughes. This is from one of the many scenes in 16 Candles.

9:32 PM

Kaylee listening to the sound of the drum.
Drum circle with the wonderful and talented Mz. Marianne.

Another Bench Monday (flickr group) shot. This time I decided to wear much cuter shoes.

Mine is a bit more cheesy.

8:46 AM

Today was Dahlia's 2nd birthday. Here she is playing in her room. I love the lighting that shines through her windows.

9:55 PM

So google says it's national hug day. Since Mushu doesn't get as much attention as she once did I decided to show her a little love tonight. Now go and hug someone or something.

7:32 AM

Another Flickr Group Roulette theme: Lights, lamps, and candles. I chose to use this IKEA lamp we have had forever. Makes for a nice soft lighting look, but for actually lighting a room so you can see what you are doing, it SUCKS. Our goal for this weekend is to get some decent lighting in our bedroom. FINALLY!

7:27 AM

Flickr group roulette (FGR) had a theme today that was called Love of Money. Kaylee loves finding money and putting it in her piggy bank. She even knows the difference between a penny and a quarter. Now we just need to work on dime and nickel. Anyway she is saving up for our Disneyland trip hopefully planned for April.
